Designed with the planet in mind, Noama art is created with vegan gouache paint, sustainable materials and found papers. Art prints are on natural Hahnemühle bamboo paper and are printed in London.

The paper and giclée printing technique used means the pieces are gallery quality, long-lasting, environmentally friendly, and since they’re printed to order, there’s no waste stock. The packaging also lives up to the same eco values, as it features recycled and biodegradable materials. You can recycle the postcard that comes with every order, but since it makes a cute mini art print, you probably won’t want to.

WHY BAMBOO?

The bamboo plant that provides the cellulose requires minimal maintenance, grows quickly and doesn’t need any pesticides. Their rapid growth means that more cellulose can be produced on the same cropland than with other raw materials, and they also require much less water, helping to save valuable resources and protect the environment. WHAT IS GICLÉE?

Giclée is a printing process, we use it for our art prints. It is environmentally safe, since the inks are water-based and the paper is archival and acid-free. It's also of exceptional quality, meaning your art prints will last longer.

HOW IS YOUR ORIGINAL ART SUSTAINABLE?

The gouache paints that we use in the original paintings are water-based and vegan. Noama also uses found papers, which could be recycled, discarded or had a previous life as something like a placemat or shopping bag. Donna also use sustainable tools, like a bamboo ruler and refillable pencil.

WHAT ABOUT PACKAGING?

Our packaging is biodegradable or recycled with the exception of mailing tube caps which are plastic but recyclable, and the protective packing that fragile frames are wrapped in – we're working on this. Our stickers and postcards included in our packages are printed on recycled paper and are compostable.
