The Suitest Things We’re Obsessed With This Month
H
ello, suites, and welcome to our monthly roundup of products and objects that we're currently obsessed with. Everything we highlight here is genuinely adored by our team — whether it’s because an object is so beautiful we smile every time we see it, it makes travel easier or reminds us of one of our favorite locales.
So, what catches our eye? We have a soft spot for products that transport you places and small business owners forging their own path. If there's anything you think should be on our radar, shoot us a message.
1. RAAHI LIVING TEXTILES BY WAY OF JAIPUR
If you’ve ever been to Jaipur, there’s a good chance you left wishing you’d brought a bigger suitcase. Now, there’s buyer’s remorse no more because Raahi Living is making the city’s famous hand block printed textiles accessible wherever you are in the world. Raahi Living’s founder, Anika, is also dedicated to creating artfully designed but ethically made products that support artisan communities.
2. LOIS AVERY’S ITALIAN CASHMERE SCARVES
Spring may have sprung up here in the Northern Hemisphere, but, that doesn’t mean we won’t stop bundling up for brisk mornings and chilly evenings anytime soon. Instead of reaching for a sweater, throw on an effortless Lois Avery Italian cashmere scarf. The brand’s founder, Jennie, only works with the best suppliers — the same mills that supply some of the world’s most famous fashion houses.
3. MEZZATORE UMBRELLA FROM ISSIMO
If you can’t make it to Italy anytime soon, you should at least sit at home in style. You’ll look totally chic underneath this Italian, scalloped edge parasol made by hotelier and Issimo founder Marie-Louis Sciò. They’re the same umbrellas that Sciò uses at Pellicano Groupe’s Mezzatore on Ischia.
4. POOL LINES PRINT BY HOTEL MAGIQUE
Are they a hotel? No. But, they are magique. Run by Dutch creative entrepreneur Milou Neelen, Hotel Magique captures the fleeting moments of travel turned into timeless art and souvenirs.
5. THE SATURN STOOL FROM MALLORCA’S LA PECERA
The artisans at La Pecera hand-make this stool with the traditional Majorcan technique called the braid of hearts of palm. From above, the round silhouette looks like the rings of Saturn — hence the name. We love that this piece of furniture supports local artisans and culture. Plus, you can style it all over the home, from the bathroom vanity to your foyer.
